You just have to love the new Young Women's Value........VIRTUE!

Last night Ashley and I attended the General Young Women's Broadcast which included a dinner provided by our wonderful Young Women's Stake Presidency. Our dinner was a fine Italian cuisine, consisting of French Bread, Tossed Salad, Cheese Stuffed Manicotti and Cheese Tortellini. Following dinner, we were served a refreshing bowl of Rainbow Sherbet. During dinner, each of the Young Women were invited to take home a heart charm for their phones, key chains or....wherever.

After our meal, we adjourned to the Chapel to watch the Broadcast.

It was so wonderful to listen to the General Young Women's Presidency introduce the new Value...Virture. This value was added to the other values.... Faith, Divine Nature, Individual Worth, Knowledge, Choice and Accountibility, Good Works and Integrity.

After the program, all of the Young Women, Leaders and Mothers stood and recited the Young Women's theme together. It was incredible to feel the power of those words. It reminded me that even though it has been nearly 20 years since I have been considered a 'Young Woman', those values have shaped me into the mom, wife and person that I am. They also challenged the women, both young and old, to complete the new value experiences that apply to Virtue. I hope to be able to work on this along side Ashley as she works on her Personal Progress.
