Sarah B's Banana Bread Recipe

Sarah B’s Banana Bread Recipe
(Doesn't that sound like a Dr. Suess Book Title?)

3 Cups Flour
2 ½ Cups Sugar
1 Cup Oil
1 Cup Buttermilk (yeah, I know Buttermilk...you will need to go to the store for this ingredient...and don't even think of omitting this either...it makes all the difference!)
1 cube Butter
3 Bananas
3 Eggs
½ tsp. Salt
¾ tsp. Baking Soda
1 ½ tsp. Vanilla

Mix all of these ingredients together and pour into 2 greased bread loaf pans. Bake at 350 for about an hour. Cover with foil for the last 15 minutes of baking to avoid burning the top of this scrumptious bread.

Now, the absolute BEST PART of this divine recipe….

THE GLAZE…Yep, Glaze….

¾ Cup Sugar
¼ Cup Orange Juice
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 tsp. Butter

Cook the above mentioned items in a sauce pan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, and then pour this delectable goodness over the top of your warm bread as it cools in the pan. Once it is cooled, quickly grab a slice of bread...because once the family finds out it is ready….well….it will all be gone.
