Mmmmmmmm.....
This year we celebrated Thanksgiving a tad early. It was perfect because Dave had his girls and his beautiful girlfriend Kristi, Elise and Brett joined us along with Amber! We sure wish the rest of the family was closer so that they could have joined the fun!
The girls worked well into the afternoon to help prepare our delicious meal. It was so nice to have them there. They were happy to help and clean up. I think we washed all the dishes in the kitchen at least twice.
We were so luck to have grandma Hope in town. I am so glad she came, dinner would not have been the same without her. We served our 25 lb. turkey and all the trimmings early in the afternoon. Oh, the smells of the holidays...

Oh, and the desserts...Candybar Pie, Pumpkin Cheesecake, Banana Bread, Apple Pie, Lemon Crumble, and of course...Pumpkin Pie.
We finished up the evening watching UP, doing puzzles, playing SPOONS, and having a snowball fight (aka cotton balls ). We can't wait to get together at Christmas!
