Today is day 3 for Meg with her new braces and hairdo. This is the first day she can actually crack a 'real' smile, since her mouth and teeth have been far too tender. But, isn't she adorable in her new Bling and hair cut? After getting her braces on, she decided to make a change and cut off 10 inches of her gorgeous locks...sniff...sniff... What a beauty she is. Love you Meg! (Megs is sporting her new "Molen Magic" t-shirt. She can earn really cool prizes just for being seen in it....that is too cool!)
*Special Side Note about Megs-This is phase 3 of her Ortho treatment.
Round 1 was 'The Expander'...you know, she never complained as I cranked that contraption every night to expand her arch.
Round 2 was 'The Hurkin' Bionator'...which she wore faithfully...night...day...even at school. She only 'lost' it once...we searched for 3 hours through all the trash at a wedding reception...can you believe that that silly thing was safe in her pocket the whole time...
Finally, Round 3 'The Braces'. Just over night her teeth seemed to nearly fall into place...she is planning on wearing her rubber bands faithfully...and we all agree that she will be out of her braces before Ashley is, since Ashley is far too casual with her band wearing.
