As we were shopping this Christmas, we spied some ribbon trees in a holiday display. The girls and I decided that we would go home and attempt to recreate them. Here is what we came up with.
All you need is a styrofoam cone, a variety of ribbon and pins. To start, we cut the ribbon in about 6 inch lengths and pinned them on. As you work your way to the top, just reduce the length of the ribbon. We just made some loops for the star on top, and Voila! Cute aren't they?

.i LOVE your entry way! great job!
.hilarious about your present from your husband... but sad too!
. your trees are adorable! i thought of doing that with hot gluing ornaments all over styrofoam. i really like the ribbon idea!!! too bad i really HATE styrofoam...
. thanks for your comment! i can't quit reading your posts either... i love your wording (even your comment to me)... was silly and fun to read. you are very clever and witty! i also forgot to do a "read through" on my TODAY post, and i had to correct my errors. i realized i didn't delete my dog decoration thing in my list. a letter came to me as a much better idea afterwards and so i got caught up in my letter and forgot the repeat that i first wrote to later on get rid of. CRAP! i don't like mistakes, and when people read them. so forgot you saw that double!
. hmmm... perhaps i should have wrote you an email instead of my forever going on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on... (catch on yet)... comment. i hope you have a merry christmas with you sweet and adorable little family! take care!!!
think we'll have to make some of these this week! love that you are so crafty!!!
